<![CDATA[ Hi lads!

I was wondering what is your favourite bird.

For me it is a difficult thing to decide on.

I would say

SNIPE is my most favourite. Everything about the bird is magical, strange, beautiful, and entertaining.

Other favourites for me are the Swallow. It has such freedom in it's life. Flying across the globe and returning to it's nest every year. It flies all
day at high speeds with such skill. It always seems happy, chattering and socialable.

Another favourite is the... ]]>

you and I have discussed off site the brotherhood that hunting enjoys, and reading your post I was again struck by this and had to remind myself that you were

My favourite shooting bird is the grey partridge. There is nothing on earth to compare a bitter cold morning walking up partridges in the arid scrublands of

want to try it. With the Capercaille hunting, they need a treeing spitz (finnish spitz usually), to find the bird then bay it, distracting the bird while they
stalk up close enough to shoot it with their sighted shotguns. The birds seemed very wary. The challenge is not the shooting skill, but the stalking skill and
