This is my third trip snipe hunting and my third limit. Thanks to Sniper John and his generosity, I've fallen in love with the pursuit of another game bird. The cool thing about the snipe is you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn - and you can easily hunt them all day long. They are fast acrobatic flyers and challenge even the best wingshooter. Here are a couple pictures from today, my dog won't pose as nicely as John's, but she sure loves to hunt birds. Today even included a lucky double - two snipe, one shot

Notice my fancy red bird strap? It was too hot and the snipe were flaring away from the orange vest so I had to figure out a way to carry the birds, I found a long lost Valentine's Day Balloon and cut the ribbon from it to carry my birds, I stuffed my pockets full of shells and off I went.
